Last offered by us in our Dallas 2002 sale. Included is a paper that says this note was the 1st or 2nd note signed by Jos. N. Cass as president and given to CAC, possibly his son. It was found in 1921 in an old pocketbook. Undoubtedly Uncirculated when it was folded in quarters and carried as a lucky piece. Two folds on the back show some wallet dirt. Notes with documented stories like this always bring a premium.
