The town of Blue Ball received it's name from a ball that was hung outside the local stagecoach stop when either a passenger or mail was waiting. This note, with it's beautiful pen signatures, was the best that the bank had saved. Previously from the Blue Ball National Bank hoard that sold in March 2005 where it brought $4,370.
