This is a scarce proof from The City Bank of Philadelphia. Only four of these were offered in the 1990 ABN sale. The center vignette shows two maidens with shield above red TEN overprint. Overall, a very attractive card proof. Imprint of Danforth, Wright & Co. Printed on India paper and mounted on card (Plate D). No ABNC stamp on back. From the Eastern Collection.
