This is the first proof in a group from The Springfield Bank. This note has two very ornate counters at the top corners, woodsman with dog at the center, and a portrait of a maiden at right and cattle grazing at left. Imprint of Danforth, Bald & Co. Printed on India paper and mounted on card (Plate C). No ABNC stamp on back. From the Eastern Collection.
