Almost everyone that has ever seen or dreamed about having a $10,000 bill has seen or heard of the infamous display of $1,000,000 in cold cash that hung prominently at Benny Binion's Horseshoe Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Word has it that this display was built attwo different times. I guess a million bucks in cold, hard cash would be tough to leave laying around. Now Benny and the display have gone the way of privately owned Las Vegas casinos but these 100 $10,000 notes do remain. This auction gives you the opportunity to acquire one of the finest known examples. These notes were between glass for decades and when the display was opened some notes ended up with flaws, but that's not the case here. I can say this one is as nice as any of those survivors. It's been PCGS graded Gem New 65 and noted Ex: Binion Hoard. Each note lost some originality when they came out of the glass so it's not graded PPQ. There have been several studies done on the $10,000 notes and it's clear there are few examples that exceed this note in quantitative terms of quality and appearance.
