This signature combination is considered the type Hancock Deuce and most uncirculated examples are fairly nice, however this particular example is superior to most CUs and is exceptional in every way. The Gengerke census shows this note to not be part of any CU run, so someone looking for a perfect example may have purposefully chosen it. They chose well. In the rarified air of 67s and above, where this PCGS Superb Gem New 67 PPQ ends up is difficult to predict. PCGS has seen just four other pieces this nice and just two that they liked a point better. PMG has graded just one note higher. A similar example auctioned in April of this year for $11,000, and I would expect this beauty to approach that number.
