The final note in this set of proofs from The Norfolk Bank, this $3 features a center vignette of horses in a field with a train in the background; the left vignette is a man working with animal hide. The most striking feature on this note is a very large "3" red overprint on the right. I have never seen such an intricate overprint with such detailed inner engravings. Similar to the $2 note listed here, this is also a unique note from the ABN sale. Imprint of Danforth, Wright & Co. Printed on India paper and mounted on card (Plate A). No ABNC stamp on back.
