This was the first $5 Confederate that did not bear interest. The note has Liberty, scroll "5" and an eagle. This note has great paper quality but it had a slight stain and the normal edge splits. I don't remember seeing a better example but sometimes I forget, and this isn't my expertise to remember. Don't overlook this rarity as the centering is decent and the paper is great!
