January 1, 1859. Here is an attractive proof from the Bank of Columbus. It has bright orange counters, a maiden at left, and the center vignette is several buildings along a river. There is a minor chip in the upper right border. Imprint of Bald, Cousland & Co. and ABNC monogram at bottom right (Plate D). No ABNC stamp on back. From the Eastern Collection.
