A lovely $1,000 Gold Certificate that has excellent centering along with great color and embossing, but it does have three folds. It has been called 'Apparent' because of a tiny edge restoration that is nearly impossible to see with a black light. This is a rare and desirable type; the highest denomination available for a Gold Certificate.
