This note amazes me with its survival, as there are three $50s known on the state, all from this bank, and one is a pop. This appears to be the best known and realized $14,000 in 2001, which seemed even then like a deal. It has marvelous signatures of J. Will Powell, President, and D. B. Thorp, Cashier.
