CG07S-11. September 1, 1861. Benjamin Robinson was sheriff of Greene County. The note was receivable for all taxes or redeemable for Virginia current funds. Greene County was formed in 1838 from parts of Orange County. A very scarce location and issuer that we have never before seen nor handled.
