Eulalia Mutual Credit, Loan & Deposit Co. 12-1/2c
Grade:
Fine
April 2, 1838. A likely unique note from a previously unknown location and unheard-of issuer. Eulalia, a town not even listed in Hoober, is a township in Potter County. Eulalia was the first township in Potter County when it was created in 1810. It was named for the wife of John Keating, a land agent who led the first people to settle in Potter County. Note the odd spelling of 'Deposit' in the issuer title. Pen signatures of James Haven, Cashier, and G. Campbell, President. Don't miss out on this one, as you will likely never see another.
