TWELVE NOTES; face and back essays of each denomination by ABNC with framework pasted in and other elements drawn. Each face with series B. All twelve pieces have a cover sheet for protection. The 50 Centesimos shows allegorical woman with palette and paintbrush; the 1 Peso, allegorical woman with mallet and cherub; 5 Pesos, cornucopia and allegorical woman with quiver and wreath; 10 Pesos, allegorical woman with ship's wheel; 100 Pesos, two allegorical women flanking young girl symbolizing liberty; and 500 Pesos, allegorical women with mandolin and palette. Each back shows arms. Nothing remotely like this was ever issued for Uruguay. Individually, each denomination is incredible; as a group, this is incomparable. Spectacular collector group.
