We last sold this key star in 1999 where it brought nearly $19,000. It is still the unchallenged king of the $1 Silver Certificate stars, and examples are rarely available. This attractive circulated piece is problem free, has bright colors and is untrimmed with reasonable centering. These have not become any more common in the last seven years, but everyone should agree that the demand for rare stars is much stronger today. Could easily hold its own among a set of CU's.
