This note was part of a trio of a #1 and two attached #2 $5 Brown Backs. Each is slightly subdued in color but the overall quality seems very Choice indeed. Wonderful pen signatures of A.R. Loomis, President and M.F. LeRoy, Cassier. This bank was organized on January 17, 1890 and closed on February 13, 1929 for 'incompetent management' to put it gently.
