This Kings County bank was chartered in 1864 and this is the serial #1, plate position 'A' from the first sheet of $1-1-1-2 printed. This Ace, and the matching Obsolete offered in Session 2, is certainly one of 2013's 'best' finds and they have descended through the family of the signer. The current census shows a single Ace, two Original $5s and three 1875 $10 issues known from the First Charter period.
