Succeeding the Citizens Bank, this bank was established in November 1887. They voluntarily liquidated in February 1898 and only issued $5 Brown Backs, of which they issued 2,052 sheets. The large out in 1910 was $435. Two notes are known but it's unlikely to see the other available. Obviously a family owned bank as this note was signed by D.C. Lake, President and Anna G. Lake, Cashier. This note has a little nick at the top. From the C. Dale Lyon Collection.
