The Woods-Tate series was the last issued for large size $1 Silver Certificates and very few stars were necessary. To date there have been only 17 star serial numbers reported. There are only three signature combinations issued for the last type and that means only three different stars. There is only one listed as UNC and then this note graded AU 53. We sold a VF 30 at $10,350 in 2009 during a tough economic time and there have been just three sold since, all VF. The quality of this note is amazing and no doubt the price will be as well.
