Looking back on the John Whitney Walter, James W. 'Billy' Key and Mel Wilmore auctions, all of which we conducted over the past decade, we can find only four examples of $10 denominations with serial #99999999, for all series 1928 to 1999. Interestingly all four come from the 1934-1934B series. This is one of those four, the $10 1934-B FRN #B99999999D, graded PMG Ch. UNC 64 PPQ. A really stunning piece!
