This note was previously offered in our October 2008 sale where it was described as, "This is definitely a pristine Rainbow $1 with spectacular margins, square corners, exquisite colors and virtually perfectly aligned printing. Worthy of a record bid. This note is from a collection formed exclusively by Stanley Morycz and was assembled with the finest quality, low numbers and scarcest signature combinations that were available at the time. Quality was always the utmost consideration and it shows." This Rainbow $1 is truly a Gem as the color and originality are so overwhelming in stature. The centering is at least really nice, but not Superb. Worth a real serious bid in this market. Not part of the recently discovered run but lovely and original. Now Superb is generally attached to "67" grades but I think this is more of a "65" quality.
