Here is a surprise to all of us, only the second reported $50 Brown Back from this early Wright County bank. It did have only six $50s reported until this jewel showed up. It's a rarity and high denomination of the few that were issued. This bank only issued $50 and $100 sheets which include 1,034 Brown Backs, 334 Red Seals, 240 Blue Seals and 1087 of the $50-100 sheets. These were mostly two note sheets so no wonder it's rare. Good pen signatures of M.A. Michaelson, Vice President and U.B. Tracy, Cashier enhance this example. I used to go here to coin shows as a boy.
