Aces, or for that matter virtually any DC First Charters are rare and the DC Aces are limited to 42 notes reported from 9 banks. This note realized $32,487 in January 2005 in heated competition fueled by the collector of Aces, among others. There are only three notes reported from this location including another Ace in VG/Fine and a $5 in Fine. There are Aces on three DC banks: #875 reports one; #1813 reports three and #2358 reports two. Only two 1875 Series Aces and four Original Series Aces are known. A significant rarity for a serious collector.
