Baltimore Franklin Bank 25c 1815

The Franklin Bank had its charter approved December 23, 1810. It was actually a quality institution, and was eventually taken over by the Equitable National Bank of Baltimore in 1891. This is one of its earliest issues with printed date 1815. Apparently these were circulated unsigned and undated as small change notes. Rated as R-7 in the Maryland catalog. The first we have seen for sale.
