TWO NOTES; both with red overprint on Duvalier and 7.2.1986 date. Questions remain as to whether this is an official overprint. On February 7, 1986, the Duvalier regime was overthrown by the military. The 2 Gourdes, prefix S, is Tyvek. One expert states that 100 pieces were made of the 1 Gourde and 250 of the 2 Gourdes. It has also been reported that they were printed by exiles in the USA, but they have been seen in Haiti. Most intriguing, particularly as "Baby Doc" passed away just last October. WBG terms these "Gem UNC 66 TOP" and "Superb Gem UNC 67 TOP".
