We have seen only three small size $50 FRNs with solid serial #11111111. None of them was a small head note. One was from this same series in VF condition and the other was a 2006 uncirculated specimen that sold for close to $6000 in a private transaction. This great note looks two grades higher than it's technical grade, but we suggest that grade is not very important when considering this purchase. Where will you find another one in any grade? Even the extensive John Whitney Walter collection lacked a $50 solid 1's. This $50 2001 FRN CC11111111A has been graded PMG 45 XF.
