T-42 $2 June 2, 1862 Gutter Fold Error
Grade: PCGS Apparent Fine 12
A very scarce error that we can't recall having seen before. Gutter fold errors on Confederate notes are extremely uncommon and increase their value several fold. PCGS notes minor edge damage, small rust stains, tape stains. The gutter fold goes right through the portrait at left. Serial number 214 is one of the lowest we have seen.
