Signed by Charles Pinckney, Jr, who was a signer of the United States Constitution, a Governor of South Carolina, a Senator and a member of the House of Representatives. He was a first cousin once removed of fellow signer Charles Cotesworth Pinckney. Huge margins and bright paper surfaces make this note appear sorely under graded. In our PCDA sale, we sold a virtually identical example, also in a PCGS Gem New 65 PPQ holder, for $1,410.
