Harris 132. October 6, 1862. Mr. Carpenter, whose facsimile signature is seen at lower right, was the city treasurer as well as a bookkeeper for J.S. & M. Peckham. Portrait of Lincoln seen at left. Nicer than the Harris plate note which sold for $632.50 many years ago.
