QUADRUPLE BACK PRINTING from DIFFERENT PLATES

$10 1988-A B New York B-C Multiple First Print
Grade:
PCGS Ch. Abt. New 58
Unlike anything else in recent times; the last documented quadruple back printing goes back 60 years to the series of 1950-A. This note exhibits a dramatic multiple printing of the back with very evident horizontal displacement of the secondary images. The darkest printing came from back plate 141; the three other printings are all from a different one. This is a genuine multiple printing, not to be confused with the bounced plates creating a series of images all with the same back plate number.
