The finest known and it brought a runaway price when last offered in our summer 2005 auction. Both of the solid stars are upside down, as the press operator mis-set the numbering wheel. This is the plate note from United States Paper Money Errors by Frederick J Bart, where it carries a value of $12,500 in CU although grade is hardly important on an error of this magnitude.
