Second Large to Appear
National Bank Notes > Oregon
Silverton, First NB, P11106
Fr. 632 $10 1902PB
Grade:
F/VF
Founded on the banks of Silver Creek, the Silverton economy was fueled by timber. Although the town thrived with nearly 2,500 residents in 1930, the only national bank in town didn't make it through the Depression. Until this note surfaced, the only large note on the bank was the Richard XXXX note we sold for $17,250 back at the 2006 Memphis show. Note faces up very well, and has had some repair work done at the lower left corner and margin. Stamped signatures.
