We've seen a trend where 1928 low serial numbered notes have been bringing significantly stronger prices than their 1935 to 1957 counterparts. Clearly far fewer of these low serial numbered notes were printed from the 1928 to 1928B series and collectors have been bidding them up year after year. Ten years ago they might have brought $75 per note at auction, and now we have several two digit examples that we believe will bring between $300 and $500 each. This lot includes a really nice trio: $1 1928 SC F00000090A, $1 1928A K00000090A and $1 1928A S00000090A. All three would conservativly grade Ch. CU. Replacing a trio like this is no easy task.
