There's something about having just 1's in the serial number of a Silver Certificate that makes the note highly desirable. The price progression of these low serial numbered Silver Certificates has been especially impressive over the past decade. In 2003 this note probably would have brought no more than $100 at auction. We wouldn't be surprised to see it bring $400 today.
