As stated earlier in this auction, you won't find many $1 1928 era SCs with fancy serial numbers. Back in the day, the BEP seemed to have little concern about the appearance of margins on these early Silvers. It is highly common to find centering problems from the 1928, 1928A and 1928B series. This great $1 1928A SC #W00000040A has wonderful centering and great embossing.
