National Bank Notes > Tennessee
Pulaski, NB, 1727
Fr. 399 $5 Original
Grade:
VG, damaged
This was the earliest of the five national banks in Pulaski, an early issuer in Giles County, Tennessee. This is somehow the third note reported and this bank was only in business from 1870 to 1882, issuing only First Charters. The signatures are still there and I'm guessing they are Ballentine and Parkis. My guess is that an excellent restoration could be done to revive this example but it would be rather costly.
