This is easily the finest known note from this Ivanhoe County bank; I cannot find an offering of the six small size notes reported. The only Minnesota small size note with an ampersand in the title, it bears the printed signatures of H.J. Tillemans, President and L.V. Widmark, Cashier. The community was named for the hero of the novel by Sir Walter Scott and many of the streets were also named for characters in the novel.
