This beauty is the first of two notes listed here that are new to the census and apparently they are far and away two of the finest known on this location. Both notes are serial #5580 with plate 'D' here and the other is plate 'F'. This brings the total number reported to nine. Sales records indicate a $20 in Fine that we offered in June 2008 realized $2,185 and a sale two years earlier of the same note realized $4,945. Both of these notes are virtually UNC with minor handling. ---- Delta was named for its location at the river delta where the Gunnison and Uncompahgre Rivers meet. It is also the county seat of Delta County.
