When it comes to cool, the possibilities don't get more interesting than this Colorado Territorial with the elusive black charter numbers. Records indicate this is the most common and yet only Territorial. Research indicates that these plates were originated with the Continental Bank Note Company between November 15, 1873 and May 15, 1874. Data shows 10 known issuing banks but 2 have no notes reported. This note's quality is impressive and it's in the same number range as those called higher grades. Whether for your Type set or State set collection, this is a lovely, pen signed beauty.
