It bears the lowest serial number and also the lowest grade (reflecting a longer period in commerce), behind a VF and a Fine which we sold for $4,140 just last year. Entirely wholesome, with only a few edge splits that we searched hard to find, which attest to the complete originality of this Original Series Ace; there is no restoration of any nature. This bank issued Original Charter notes only and was not represented in many of the great collections of Michigan National Bank notes.
