Good for groceries and Queensware. This early Kansas scrip has never been seen before and there is no question this town, in the 1880s, was really the Wild West and at the heart of the Old West. It's interesting to note that the coupon was printed by Allison Coupon Co., 66 S. Illinois St., Indianapolis, IN. In 1889 a Dodge City business directory listed W.F. Dean and Frank Purdum, Groceries.
