Here is a great rarity that's been hiding in plain sight in this Type note collection that's been off the market for more than 40 years. This was Lot 229 in a Donlon sale. This Everett $50 appears to be the second or third finest known of the 37 serial numbers recorded. None of the best notes have ever been third-party graded and it's been a decade since. There is only one Fr. 334 graded AU 58 as well.
