The $50 and $100 Red Seal Federal Reserve Notes have always been rare, and interest in them in the last few years have made nice examples hard to find. This elusive Minneapolis $100 is one of just 13 examples and is the third finest. The paper is bright and free of major problems. We sold a slightly better one in the 2013 Memphis sale for $9,775 and the best one back in 2009 at $18,400. But those are not available tonight. From a May 2011 Heritage sale where a pair of VF 25s were offered. This was the better of the two.
