Braidwood, Miners NB, 1964
Fr. 389 $2 Original
Grade:
VF
This bank was chartered in 1872 and the town name changed to Wilmington in 1878. There were 4,880 sheets of First Charters printed with this title. This is a very nice VF Deuce with excellent color and body. The pen signatures are John Daniels, President and Wm. H. Odell, Cashier. This note is one of three First Charters known with this first title for this Wills County bank. The title takes it back to its mining heritage.
