Here we have the finest known of the 20 small notes reported on this Cass County bank. There have been three public offerings but none since 2004. The signatures of J.H. Reed, Cashier and E.I.P. Steade, President grace this note in 1929 only. C.J. Elspenter became cashier in 1930 and served to the end.
