The Boston $1,000 from 1928 is a rarity with only 34 notes reported. This note, from the Rickey collection, is reasonably graded a VF-35. None listed are better than AU 50. This example is nice and well centered. We sold a '35' in 2011 at $22,425 but more recently sales have softened.
