This note has a center vignette of Hope with an anchor, standing between two Roman numerals 'X'. R.M.T. Hunt is at that left and C.G. Memminger at the right. The Roman numeral is printed in three varieties: a fine chain mail pattern, solid red, or in a coarse lace pattern. Blank reverse. Centering is always an issue with Confederate notes; this one grades '62'.
