Grade: CGA Gem UNC 68
This is the scarcer and popular large brown seal $2 Silver Certificate but the holder incorrectly identifies this as a Fr. 243. This note was offered by CAA in September 2000 as a Gem. It was also last offered by Superior in 2007, before that by us and Heritage, with all of us selling it as a CGA Gem UNC 68. A Gem with very broad margins. I wonder if the Friedberg number error was previously noted.
