RF Fezzan overprint on French West Africa 5 Francs; rubber stamp has miscellaneous bumps around the box. Plate note from Schwan-Boling's first book "World War II Military Currency." Heights of two lines of type are 13.5mm and 10.5mm. Leclerc and Kolsky state 200,000 notes of this date were overstamped, a small fraction of amount made for this type. Couple small holes lower left. Overall strong original; virtually the only obtainable denomination from the series.
