This is an amazing discovery note from the Home National Bank of Elgin, Illinois with a clearly overprinted Home National Bank of Elgin. Below that is a stamped #7 from another stamping. I have only seen this type of printing once before from a Boston bank and it's been around for decades. This note is only the second ace reported out of 36 others reported. No indication of any extra printing. This note needs some splits closed but I felt the new owner should get that work done. I have shown a wide estimate because of the rarity of the note.
